Ani Difranco

Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American Canadian singer and songwriter. There are more than 20 albums. DiFranco's music has been classified as folk and alternative rock although it includes influence from hip hop and jazz. Ani DiFranco was among the first artist to establish her own record label in the year 1990. Ani is widely considered as one of the feminist icons. DiFranco was a born on 23rd September 1970 in Buffalo New York. Her parents were Elizabeth (Ross), from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) as well as Dante Americo DiFranco. The parents of her mother and father were both from Montreal from Montreal. Ani Difrasco wrote and sang the hit song "32 Flavors". The song is featured on her sixth studio album Not a Pretty Girl released in 1995. This track appears in the soundtrack to the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate from 1999. DiFranco apologized in 2013 when it was revealed that she planned to host the three-day workshop on an Louisiana slave plantation. A lot of people (including us) did not feel impressed by her decision. DiFranco offered a second apology a few days later. While she has been known by the name of Little Folksinger, her songs have embraced a variety of kinds of genres and collaborates between Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. New Orleans is her home. Ani DiFranco is with Kristen Ford. At the age of 14 she began writing her songs. Her teens were spent singing them in pubs and coffee shops. DiFranco went to Buffalo State College after graduating at the age of 16 from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts. Ani's customized Alvarez baritone was the result of several meetings we held with Chrys Johnson, who was the representative of artist for Alvarez. The System 600 preamp is on it. DiFranco states that she's not sure about the idea to look at her work retrospectively, even though it's been more than three decades. Ani DiFranco rose to famous status as a singer/songwriter and punk/folk at the age 25, both in the eyes of both fans and critics with Not A Pretty Girl. Dilate brought even greater success to her music in the year 1996. The 1972 pop-rock song Brandy (You're a gorgeous girl) was composed by American group Looking Glass for their debut album Looking Glass. Elliot Lurie wrote the song.
